Regulatory Alignment

CCPA & CPRA

Overview

The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, is a California privacy law that provides certain rights to California residents and establishes obligations for covered businesses that collect, use, disclose, sell, or share personal information. For Xano as a SaaS platform, CCPA/CPRA alignment means maintaining privacy, security, contractual, and operational controls designed to support customers that process California personal information through the Xano platform. For customers as businesses, service providers, contractors, or third parties under the CCPA/CPRA, this can help support their own privacy obligations; however, customers remain responsible for determining how the law applies to their use case, providing required privacy notices, honoring applicable consumer rights requests, managing opt-out obligations where required, and configuring their applications and data processing activities appropriately.
